Why does this fun activity never turn out quite the way you imagine it. The kitchen's a mess, I'm in a bad mood, Shaun's teasing, Savannah's crying and in time-out most of the night, and Bo just sits back and watches all the CHAOS!
The most memorable and least fun we ever had carving pumpkins, was when Shaun gave Bo a screwdriver to poke his pumpkin - thinking it would be safer than a knife - and we ended up in the ER with that screwdriver stuck in Bo's eyeball - no joke! That evening ended around midnight, but all was well!

It's so funny how us moms always have a plan in our minds. But usually they never turn out that way. But at least this year nobody ended up in the ER. Hope you guys have a happy halloween!
sorry pumpkin carving didn't go so well... I was thinking this year would be the hardest because he wouldn't be interested in it.... but now I'm beginning to dread future years when he wants to actually do the carving part. Eek!
