Petites. . .coming to an end

This year has been an adventure in the World of Dance. I have enjoyed the new studio we joined and have met many very nice moms and girls. She has had the opportunity to perform a total of TEN times this year. Performing is really what she loves to do so that has been rewarding.
Savannah has had some challenges with her level of commitment but seems to be trying harder the older she gets (most days). But how can I expect someone who had just started Kindergarten to take anything seriously? I think each year these little ones age brings more maturity and a desire to be better and try harder. She is aware of when she really does well and she also knows when she has made a mistake and she tries to correct it. I think that says a lot about her.
Alexis and Skylar are very good with Savannah and loving. They see a lot of potential in her and I can only thank them for everything.

Horsin' Around!

This is Cupcake! The "new" horse that we've had for 2 years. I was not thrilled about adding another horse to our family of horses but Shaun felt like Lollipop needed company.
Remind me next time never to let our children
name our animals.

The horse is finally old enough to do something with it so Shaun is starting to work the horse tonight. First time with a riding saddle. . .didn't seem to mind it which is a good sign.
So. . .what the hell - let's just throw Savannah on!!!
"Are we crazy?"

Baseball - then Jackson!

Bo had a tournament in Idaho Falls - played two games on Friday and the rest of the weekend was rained out. Kind of a bummer, but we decided to make the best of the weekend and head to Jackson Hole. It was only about 90 min. from where we were.

Notice the Idaho Falls Temple behind us. It was beautiful when it was lit up at night.

We stayed here at Cowboy Village in a little cabin.

The famous Elk Antler Arch in town square.

Notice Sasqwatch (Bigfoot) behind Shaun and Savannah hitting him as hard as she can because he got too close.

Okay - we didn't go in the Bar but we ate at the Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse. Delish!

The dancing girls that performed during the Old Western Shoot-Out!

Big Rock "CANDY" Mountain

They didn't believe me when I told them the mountain was made of candy rocks. . .until we got there and Shaun secretly planted some on the trail as we hiked the mountain. Savannah couldn't believe what she found until she took a bite out of one found on the ground - needless to say, we spent way to much time there.

Loved this sign!
