Savannah Banana turns SIX!

The last five years have flown by but she has been a joy! I don't know what I would do without a little girl. . .she's her daddy's "pRrINcEsS" and she uses that to her advantage every day.

* Always has to pick out her own clothes.

* Loves dresses.

* Tries to keep up with Bro.

* Loves church.

* Full of questions about how things are made.

* Loves to be on stage.

* Great helper - I only have to ask her once.

* Loves to go barefoot.

* She's tough and you don't want to make her mad.

SUPERCROSS at it's Best!

Monster Energy AMA Supercross
came to SLC a couple of weeks ago and we were finally able to go and see some of these riders that Bo thinks are so cool. . . okay and me too. The smell & sound inside Rice Eccles stadium brought back memories.

Chad Reed #1 - James Stewart (Bubba) #7

You could see the tension between these two.
Definate rivals and, clearly, NOT buddies!

The main event between Bubba and Chad was so intense and fun to watch - they were battling back and forth but Bubba pulled it off in the end.



Bo said, "Man, I would love to be Chad Reed. I would have so much money and, better yet, ALL the ladies."
Oh my, he scares me sometimes.

Baseball Season has arrived.

It's the Super League so Bo will play double-headers every Saturday. 4 straight hours of play - I would be exhausted.

He was in Heaven.

Mr. Bunny Came & Went

I was hoping the kids would sleep in a little bit but that didn't happen. They were up @ 0700 bright eyed and bushy tailed. Mr. Bunny hid the eggs all around the yard so it was a race to see who could get the most . . .and I think Savannah won.

Then Savannah ventured out to the chicken coop to see if that's where her basket could be hidden and much to her surprise she found more than she bargained for. . . 5 cute baby chicks. We had chickens when Bo was younger and it was such a great experience for him. He loved to collect the eggs. So Mr. Bunny felt that Savannah deserved to enjoy chickens as well.
Thank goodness they're both old enough
to feed them and clean the poop in the coop.

We spent the afternoon at their grandma and grandpas for a great dinner and the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. The younger kids hunt the front pasture and the older kids hunt the back pasture. This year the older kids were each only allowed to find 4 golden eggs each. But these were truly prized eggs as they contained MONEY & lots of it.

Hoppy Easter!

We have skipped the gingerbread house thing during Christmas time for several years now because it was so difficult when my kids were younger. The house itself would cave in before it was finished.

This year I thought it would be fun to do something for Easter so we gave it another shot.

Shaun wanted to have a little fun so I got him. Savannah thought he was picked on so she gave him big LOVE.

Little Miss Pageant!

Savannah and I recently attended the "Little Miss" pageant that our City holds for young girls ages 10-13ish. It is a wonderful little pageant and I can't wait until Savannah is old enough to participate. These young ladies will have their own float and ride in parades plus attend many events representing our city. We knew several girls in the pageant this year and they all did a really GREAT job.
Afterall, it's the experience itself not whether they win or lose.
